Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending rehearsals for plays and watching her mother work. Silk was featured in many commercials while she was a young child. She completed a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married in a civil ceremony in December of that year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows at the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013, a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in May 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. The Canadian show Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series in an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk revealed via Twitter, on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of its favorite TV Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on social networks.
